Arranging a Funeral

When you mourn the loss of a loved one, often the shock of their passing and your grief may be very overwhelming, and you may need someone to be with you for support. We are here to help, you can call us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we can arrange a time to meet and begin preparations for the service. We will help guide you through all the steps including any legal requirements. We will also coordinate the transfer of your loved one into our care.

How to arrange a funeral

When we first meet, we will discuss the type of service you would like together. We will also talk about viewings, flowers, types of coffins, music, notifications, as well as gathering information for burial applications and registrations with the NSW Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages. Please don’t be overwhelmed with so many things to organise because we are here to help. On the day of the service we will do our very best to ensure everything comes together the way you had hoped. Even if something unforeseen happens (as the weather is often unpredictable) our calm and experienced team will ensure a dignified and personalised farewell. When you meet with us initially, we will need to make decisions regarding burial or cremation. It is very important to know the wishes of your loved one – had they ever discussed their preference with you? Following the burial or cremation, we are required to register the Death with the NSW Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.  At some stage, we will need to collect the following information:
